One thing in this campaign that’s been somewhat amusing has been the photography and images of Barack Obama as some kind of spiritual being. Here are some examples:
I’ve treated these with an amused disconnection. The Left has been treating their candidates more and more like religious figures and less like politicians. (Goracle anybody?) Most candidates brush this kind of iconography off and attribute it to over-zealous fans.
Well, it seems that the Obama team really likes pushing the image. Here’s a cropped shot of their victory homepage:
Light shining forth from all around him and Biden. An Obama symbol at the center, radiating light rays down upon the two Chosen Ones. Come on. How absolutely over-the-top. And it speaks volumes to the ego of these men. (To be fair, I can’t find a picture with a Biden halo, so I think he was added to this picture as an afterthought. But I did find a picture of Biden with a pancake on his head.)
B. Hussein Obama is the perfect Anti-Christ. As far as I know, only one public figure of note, Lawrence Eagleburger, George H.W. Bush’s Secretary of State, had the courage to identify him as a “charlatan” and a product of the Chicago mob. What we say on these blogs is meaningless as this monster proceeds to destroy our freedom, the Constitution and the Supreme court. We have become a nation of sheep and have willingly let ourselves be led to slaughter by the most dangerous figure in the history of American politics. Welcome to what Martin Rees called OUR FINAL CENTURY. I also recommend Robert Bork’s SLOUCHING TOWARDS GOMORRAH and of course Jerome Corsi’s AN OBAMA NATION. We have become a nation of losers. We have no one to blame but ourselves.
Paul Broun, Representative from Georgis, has also recently warned of a potential Obama Dictatorship. We need more such souls if we ever hope to expose and defeat B. Hussein Obama.
That last pic (O and Biden under the O-Seal) is worse than you thought. The O-Seal and bunting also strongly resembles the “dove” representation of the Holy Spirit in most icons representing Pentecost.
[Doc-- You're right. It just gets worse and worse. How long before actual churches to Obama go up? Or a "draft Obama as Pope!" movement gets going?]
Rather than churches, I fully expect dungeons for political prisoners. I might even become one!
