AP at HotAir linked in the headlines to the Glen Beck drinking game. Just testimony to Beck’s “arrival” when a drinking game is named after him.
So, wanted to draft up an Allahpundit Drinking Game.
1-Drink Events:
- Any time a headline is posted with the word “Finally!”
- Any time a headline is posted with the word “Heartache!”
- Any time a headline/blog article is posted with the word “Obligatory”
- Any time AP scribes a post involving Sarah Palin.
- Any time the caption on the Blog or Top Picks reads “nuance”.
- Any time AP posts a headline or blog article about atheism.
- Any headline that just says, “Dude!”
- Any post with the read-meat pic.
- Any post that says, “Hmmmm”
- Anytime the Fox News Sexpert is linked
- Anytime “beta-male” is mentioned in the headlines.
- Anytime a headline reads “Good News!”
- Anytime a headline reads “Civilization Ends!”
2-Drink Events:
- Any Kristen Powers post by AP (can be changed once he gets a new crush).
- Any post referring to Michelle Malkin as “The Boss”
- Any time AP links to Ace or Vodkapundit (let’s face it, there’s alcohol involved there somewhere)
- Any time AP publishes an atheism post with a picture of Hitchens. (replaces the 1 drink event)
- Any time a post has “The Mushroom Cloud”
- Any time Ed updates an AP post.
- Any time AP updates an Ed post.
Full Drink events:
- Any time there’s an appearance of the humpbot.
- Any time there’s a link to the Autopsy.
- Any time MM updates an AP post.
- Any time Rush Limbaugh refers to AP as a “kook”
UPDATE: Wow, this has really taken off. Thanks for all the input! I wanted to address a few questions. 1) If we do this for real one day, AP cannot know the day nor the hour. Otherwise we invite toxic alcohol syndrome. 2) I love AP, Ed, and HotAir. I didn’t make this to slam AP, but to show that he’s just as important as Glen Beck. (Is that a compliment?) 3) The list can’t get too long. And requiring a hit for “Exit Question” would simply increase the number of people on the Liver Transplant List.
That being said, if you play this, drink responsibly! Get a designated driver! Don’t do anything stupid!

Doesn’t this mean there is at least one required drink everytime Allah posts? This could get expensive and/or drain any liquor cabinet by the end of the week. If not the day.
It has become abundantly clear that Allahpundit has a serious crush on Sarah Palin. Sure he tries to cover it up with snide remarks and elitist “holier than though” comments, but its pretty obvious to anyone with a brain. He’s like the annoying boy in school who is constantly picking on and bugging the cute girl in class for the amusement of others, when in reality he is trying to hide the fact he has a mad crush on her and sits at home every night masturbating to her yearbook picture.

The “nuance” one is the one I find tiresome. But I’ve never seen Malkin update either Ed’s or AllahP’s posts. And I had thought that Ed also referred to Michelle as “the boss.”
Mostly, I worry that those two don’t seem to get weekends off at all, or take any vacations whatsoever. It’s not that I CARE about them having nervous breakdowns, mind you: only that if they do, it will adversely affect MY ability to consume news.

At first I thought it was just me, and I was thinking AP was getting snarkier, but after Palin showed up, all bets were off! I still like some of his posts, and ED is pretty good, but I hear a lot of ppl saying in other blogs that they got turned off of HA by AP, which is a shame. I was going to say his “I’ve got a feevah” line, but someone beat me to it. New obsession seems to be that twit Meghan McCain. Lots of those lately. Can’t someone help him get laid by a true conservative girl? Also, he is either gay or wants to be, cause that is one massive man crush he has on Hitchens.
