The Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Roger D. Kornberg over at Stanford. Way to go, Roger. Interestingly enough, Roger’s father won the Nobel Prize for Medicine back in the 50’s. Enjoy the prize! That $1.4 million prize is enough to buy a 4 bed/1.5 bath house with 1/2 an acre out there near Stanford.

This is an American sweep for medicine, physics and chemistry for 2006. Way to go, researchers!
