A valuable lesson

The Internet is full of people who are full of it. 43-year old men pretending to be sixteen-year old girls, people in trailer parks pretending to be Brad Pitt, people like me pretending to be Russel Crowe to annoy a Meg Ryan fan in a golf chat room– you get the idea.

Well, there are also people out there pretending to be legitimate web hosting providers, when in reality they’re just scam artists.

JimK, the man behind MooreWatch.com and friend of Lee over at Right-Thoughts (who does the technical wizardry behind those sites, btw) learned that lesson with “Eplaces.net”. It’s all right here in a long and interesting post. As an added bonus, the story involves Joe Rogan!
