Hubble Is Out a Camera

The main camera on the Hubble Space Telescope had a short and has forced it into “safe mode”. Scientists at NASA are currently working on the problem.

The good news is that the camera was due to be replaced anyway in 2008. Perhaps they’ll push the delivery up a few months to get the HST back on its feet faster?

And if you want a personal perspective, it seems Bryan over at HotAir actually worked on the project.
