GOP poll

As a sticky at the top of the blog you’ll find a “maybe” list of 2008 GOP frontrunners. Some people you may never have heard of– other you’ve heard plenty about. Here’s some background information from ontheissues.org on some without the name recognition of a McCain.

Sam Brownback, S-Ks.
Jim Gilmore, former governor of Virginia.
Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, R-Ga. (It’s actually rather sparse.)
Rudy Guliani, former mayor of New York City.
Chuck Hagel, S-NE.
Mike Huckabee, governor of Arkansas.
Duncan Hunter, R-CA.
John McCain, S-AZ.
George Pataki, former governor of New York.
Mitt Romney, governor of Massachusetts.
Tom Tancredo, R- CO
Tommy Thompson, former WI governor and Sec. of Health & Human services (thanks for the correction).

For what it’s worth, if anyone on any of these presidential committees wants to get some info about their candidate out there, contact me and we’ll arrange a short phone interview to discuss your conservative credentials.
