Sunday Night Groove

I heard the Stonebridge edit of this song (The Girl You Lost to Cocaine) on either a State of Trance or Global DJ Broadcast last week, and I find myself groovin’ to this killer song. I’ve never heard of Sia Furler, but her vocals are “vintage”, as though she was plucked from some old 1920’s cabaret and brought into today. The lyrics betray a modern hint, though. It’s an intoxicating mix. I’m in the process of listening to the rest of Sia’s songs that have appeared on YouTube. I’ve linked to the trance version under the radio-studio live set.
