Mars Probe Finds Ice (maybe)

Looks like that probe we shot to Mars to dig little holes has possibly found water.  According to this NYT article, the white material exposed by the lander is not there now, leading scientists to believe it was ice that sublimed.

One problem– CO2 sublimes as well.  And it’s just as white as ice.

I eagerly await the data but don’t jump the gun guys.
