James Hansen: Believe in AGW or Go to Jail

Strange words from a scientist.  Especially one who’s into future prediction (by the by, his 1988 model was touted as accurate by many AGW proponents– although the data from 2000-2008 works in the opposite direction of his dire predictions of AGW temperatures).

Here’s what Hansen said:

When you are in that kind of position, as the CEO of one the primary players who have been putting out misinformation even via organisations that affect what gets into school textbooks, then I think that’s a crime.

Dangerous words, especially as Hansen’s models were among those that sparked the AGW movement and concerns of a catastrophic climate change, a change that never happened (so James, if you predicted a change, and the change never happened, and it seems Global Warming is on hiatus, does that mean what you’re pushing into textbooks is misinformation?  Turn yourself in, criminal!)

Hansen wants BIG OIL executives to go to jail for publishing “misinformation”.  Of course, this leads to arrests of scientists who worked for BIG OIL.  Effectively, Hansen wants the AGW Brownshirts to show up and start dragging away the dissenters.  Nothing like the state policing science, eh?

The pushers of the fraud, that is “global warming” are the ones that should be jailed asp. They proclaim to love the earth, while at the same time they hate humanity.Elitist psychopaths is what they are.

    Beware! The “greenshirts” Are Here

    Mussolini had his “blackshirts”

    Hitler had his “brownshirts”

Now we have to deal with the UN “greenshirts”,
and they are every bit as dangerous.

Maurice Strong-father of Kyoto wants the industrialized world destroyed.

Al Gore-poster boy for Maurice Strong and the UN Agenda 21.
Gore and Strong were involved in some shady business together. They are both in the carbon business now.

David Suzuki- Canada’s Al Gore, told students to find a way to have politicians that disagree with the IPCC, thrown in jail. Maurice Strong is on the board of directors of the Suzuki foundation.

Just a few of the front men

Read Agenda 21 and Cloak of Green

    Enjoy your day

Yes, the greenshirts are going to round up those of us who disagree with AGW alarmism. We will all then be shipped to Gitmo and held for our “fair” trials after a few years of detention, shock treatments and waterboarding. Those of us who signed the Oregon Petition will be placed in solitary confinement with bread and water for our nutritional needs. Those who dare appear on the Inhofe 500 list will be summarily executed by firing squad for treason against AGW High Priest and inventor of the internet, Al Gore. Special Prosecutor Hansen will reject legal pleas for mercy by our appointed counsel, who are all all former IPCC members and correspondence school degreed attorneys. The panel of judges strangely resemble members of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Committee…… Oh no, They ARE that committee!

I think I’ll write James Hansen a note reminding him that he is past the social security age of retirement.

    the change never happened…
This summer may see first ice-free North Pole

WASHINGTON (AP) — There’s a 50-50 chance that the North Pole will be ice-free this summer, which would be a first in recorded history, a leading ice scientist says.

The weather and ocean conditions in the next couple of weeks will determine how much of the sea ice will melt, and early signs are not good, said Mark Serreze. He’s a senior researcher at the National Snow and Ice Data Center and the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo.

The chances for a total meltdown at the pole are higher than ever because the layer of ice coating the sea is thinner than ever, he said.

“A large area at the North Pole and surrounding the North Pole is first-year ice,” Serreze said. “That’s the stuff that tends to melt out in the summer because it’s thin.”

Preliminary February and March data from a NASA satellite shows that the circle of ice surrounding the North Pole is “considerably thinner” than scientists have seen during the five years the satellite has been taking pictures, NASA ice scientist Jay Zwally said Friday. He thinks there is slightly less than a 50-50 chance the North Pole will be ice-free.

Last year was a record year for ice melt all over the Arctic and the ice band surrounding the North Pole is even thinner now.

And what happened to the global temperature for the past 10 years, William?

    Ah, that’s right- flatline.

Who’s using allegorical evidence to support their climate position? Give you a hint. First letter of the name starts with W. And ends with -illiam.

Willy always shows up here to vent or attack after I’ve schooled him in an unrelated debate elsewhere. Makes him feel important.
